Speaking to Page Six, Jamie said: “All these conspiracy theorists don’t know anything. The world don’t have a clue.”

“It’s up to the court of California to decide what’s best for my daughter. It’s no one else’s business,” he added.

Britney was due to appear in court on July 22 to have her conservatorship revisited. The video-streamed Zoom, interrupted by protestors, proved a no-show on Britney’s part, with “technical difficulties” cited as being behind her absence. Jamie also called #FreeBritney a “joke.”

‘I Have To Report Every Nickel & Dime’

Seemingly denying suggestions that he’s profiting off the sole charge of daughter Britney’s $47 million estate, Jamie continued: “I have to report every nickel and dime spent to the court every year. How the hell would I steal something?”

The setup did include Jamie’s lawyer Andrew Wallet up until March 2019.

The #FreeBritney movement, now including celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Ruby Rose, and Ariel Winter, has spiked this summer, with fans also proving concerned over Britney’s repetitive Instagram activity. Jamie had words for the fans.

Says He’s Receiving Death Threats

Spears added: “People are being stalked and targeted with death threats. It’s horrible. We don’t want those kinds of fans.”

Britney, who was last seen being chauffeured around L.A. in a Mercedes-Benz SUV in late July, has not directly addressed #FreeBritney on her social media. However, immense concern over allegations the singer is unsafe has brought a clap-back. “This is me being authentic and as real as it gets,” she wrote in early July.

It’s now reached the point where: “Hi, Britney’s dad” is the top reply to the “Toxic” singer’s updates. Fans simply feel she has zero control over the account, followed by 25.9 million.

The Change.org petition backing Britney comes with a list of allegations over what she is and isn’t permitted to do.

“Her father doesn’t allow her to drive, all of her calls & messages are monitored, she’s not allowed to vote, hang with anyone or spend her money without permission. And if she breaks a ‘rule’ he threatens to have her kids taken away.”

July has seen Britney’s mother Lynne Spears legally file to be involved in her daughter’s affairs. It’s also seen 29-year-old sister Jamie Lynn clap back at trolls over Britney’s mental health.
